October 24th, 1917

The machine guns fell to the ground,
And the light broke through the clouds.
Blood seared the battlefield,
Whence all but the dead fought.
The war cry had turned to a silent sigh,
And the victory of one into the disposition of the other.
The sun set that fateful day,
The battle was lost.

Misery

The sun’s shining bright, but clouds block out the rays of light it emits,
You're like a new born baby, wrapped from head to toe in your stratus blanket,
For the majority of your life you feel like you've been hibernating in the shade,
You continuously pray for the heavens to open so you no longer have to be afraid,
If they release you, they have the power to end your misery,
You shouldn’t have to live in fear of those who should love you unconditionally.

Always Alone

The lights went off,
And it was dark.
But he felt the same
As he heard the song of the lark..

He had no one.
to speak to before.
And even now,
Only the moonlight
Of an October night
Is knocking at his door.

October Rain

Unfinished poems
Heart full of motions
Sea sick in my room
I feel bad , I can't face it
And In this slumber I confess
Truth will be revealed
Like stains on a raincoat
My name faded above
Time only delivers
What it can take in the end
And for so long it has been there
Telling me it was good
