Once more you are remembered

Some roses
Given to you in a time
Full of joyous happy days spent together
Years pass by
Once more you are remembered
Wrapped in your embrace
Drunk on your scent
Trapped in your eyes
My hands around your neck
You said you had to leave
I got all confused, I lost my cool
The moment still happened
Your face so close to mine
I stood there dazed and confused.
Why must we be so imperfect shallow beings?
When the morning comes,
Will I be awake to see the sun?
Or will I be in the hazy, dreamy world of slumber?

November Sea

It was from seas of east
That blew the waves
From its mighty chest
Blown over washed up dark sand.
Thunder echoes the skies
And in darkness it lights
And waves rise
While day creeps to night.

 All by ourselves

We were headed, headed out,
We were going in a direction.
No tricks or intrigue.
It was a nice day to hitchhike..

Dozen of treads, all going the same direction.
We waited for our hitch.
There were train tracks
And a fog-blacked lake,

Beauty in its autumn slippers
Approached us by degrees
On the gravel path.
We were hitching a ride out.

Sooner or later you will tell

Do you look right through me?
I like the dust you sweep
Under the rug
Keeping me a secret

Secrets start upon the lips,
Then travel to another's ear,
Be careful though, if it slips,
Because secrets can cause fear.

Sometimes impossible to keep,
They leave you restless and dry,
But the curiosity burns with remorse.
Sooner or later you will tell.

Walking

My dearest Friend, do you remember me?
I walked beside you in all my being
And startled your gaze against the sun.

You must be older now in the counting years.
Do you remember?
We walked together for long hours
With clammy hands  in all the beauty of sight.

Beat the wink
And know we'll meet again someday.
I've been busy, but I hope you still feel the heat.

In the attic

You came
you sat with me
The wooden floor was creaky,
The window was sealed
Stained by the rain
Of the night before.
A forgotten pain
Recurring
But I’m here.
I will always be here.
Won't you come back?

Solitary Man

Lost in my thoughts, what can I say?
I assumed happiness would appear.
Am I delusional?
Nothing comes so easily, nothing.
Maybe tomorrow, the next day or the next

I lost myself; I lost everything I thought I knew
I stopped blaming them and blamed it on you.
Delusions was the lock and patience was the key,
It all took time; now those delusions are set free.

That sudden summer shower

Her eyes are so plain
Yet hides in them many tales of pain.
He tried his best to get under her sight
But gone are all his efforts in vain
Then came to his rescue a sudden summer shower
She was visiting a friend and she had to catch a train.
Stood in rain looking for help
And it was hard for him to restrain
He shared an umbrella, their eyes did all the talking
And the words, they remain.
He never wished anything in life
But that moment he so wanted
The sudden summer shower to sustain.

Just a mask

Just a mask,
or just a fact about no one asks?
We will never know.
Will we ever know?
Never come back looking for her,
Because no one is left there looking like her.
She is the person you think you saw,
She is the day with a pale white flower
Just maybe she is just a mask.

Lost

Do you see the shadow?
That mighty big shadow hidden in the deep
It’s so very dark and deep.
I run, but it’s covering and stifling me.

I try, I dig
Deeper and deeper to escape the shadow
But I cannot tell what is me and who is it
Where I start and where it starts

This mighty big shadow
Encompasses all of me.
I cannot run and cannot dig
It’s so very dark and deep.

Was there anything worth going on?

You are my fear deep inside
You know all I try to hide
You know my weakness,
My doubts.
You speak when I speak,
When I sleep, you rise.

I tried to hide from you
My darkest fantasies,
Won't be worse than reality
That's about to come.

Well, was there anything worth going on?

Watching Time Fly

Life may just be a one way road
That you travel until you are old.
There are people around you, going the wrong way,
But in your own mind they are just a haze.
You're going the right way, headed in the right direction,
Looking in the rear view mirror, seeing your own reflection.
You don't know where they're going, and you don't really care.
To you those people shouldn't even be there.
Watching them speed by,
Watching time fly.
You must wonder
When your going to find yourself.

Pizza Maeba

Enfin, accettasi rettifiche e/o integrazioni.

A la prochaine “Pizza Minosa”!

Thank you

Thank you for the wonderful memories
Thank you for righting my wrongs
Thanks for your ever loving care
Thank you for your patience,
Thank you for your time.
Love you, miss you, wishing you were still here
To comfort me when I'm need,
So sad I never told you this while you were still around
But perhaps you knew
I hope that you can hear me
And that I've made you proud.

Old Photos

I am looking at our old photos.
Full of joyous happy moments spent together
Months, years pass by
You are no longer here.
New people come and go
Just as the seasons pass by.

Who'd ever thought

Who'd ever thought

There would be a light

That would shine just as bright

In the middle of the night

Who'd ever thought

That times can be great

That I could hold on to them

It could never be too late

Who'd ever thought

This waiting was just a dream

And now everything is finally free

And no one wants to leave.
