Lost  

Do you see the shadow?
That mighty big shadow hidden in the deep
It’s so very dark and deep.
I run, but it’s covering and stifling me.

I try, I dig 
Deeper and deeper to escape the shadow
But I cannot tell what is me and who is it
Where I start and where it starts

This mighty big shadow 
Encompasses all of me.
I cannot run and cannot dig
It’s so very dark and deep.
