That sudden summer shower
Her eyes are so plain
Yet hides in them many tales of pain.
He tried his best to get under her sight
But gone are all his efforts in vain
Then came to his rescue a sudden summer shower
She was visiting a friend and she had to catch a train.
Stood in rain looking for help
And it was hard for him to restrain
He shared an umbrella, their eyes did all the talking
And the words, they remain.
He never wished anything in life
But that moment he so wanted
The sudden summer shower to sustain.
