Dreams are Wishes Your Heart Make

A tiny home and tiny spaces
Hey dreamer let your wild heart roam
You can't reside in just one home
How can you sit by a window so small and barred?

Fly free for that is what you were meant to do
Pretty little bird don't stop being you
Hey dreamer don't let them get you down
Don't let your sky be turned around

Don't stop beautiful dreamer, don't die
Dreamer, keep dreaming,  waiting for the moment to arise
Don't hide away the beauty that you bleed
Don't sleep, restless wonder, wander on

You are blessed with a quest to ponder
To discover and invent
Hey dreamer, reality seems hell bent
To prove itself to be truly real

But real cannot be only what you feel
Dreamer, keep dreaming, let them make you
Dreamer, you know your dreams are more
More than just what makes the night go by.

Every word has been spoken

After the rains stop and the summer dissolves
Under a light blue sky soft breezes slide and revolve
Trees lining the garden path prepare to face the fall
Of slow yellow leaves and wait for the winter’s call
Soon northern winds will spray thick mist in the air
And morning dew will cling to the dead grass as silver crown

Days are getting shorter, throwing early long
Mystique shadows on the fallen foliage
Now the quiet forest observes the birds fly away
Clouds waltz, a cold wind sings the old song
And its rhythm resonates in my mind
The sunset spreads on blue hills the colors of autumn time.

Between two and three o'clock at night

The rain comes with the same usual tick ticks on the window
I keep going through the storm to who is waiting
I won’t make it by tonight if I go to slow

The rain does not alter or slow but rather picks up
I have to hurry because they're waiting
My car keeps picking up speed, going ever so faster

I hope they are still waiting
The wind blows and I end up in a meadow
For there they are in my sight

Then I realize my nightmare
For they've been dead for many years

Am I dead? Three ' o clock at night.

So passé

An age where we can talk to everyone
But nobody knows what to say
It's getting old and lost its fun
Out off style and so passé.

I have scars on the inside of my mouth
Because I'm talking to myself
It hurts my jaw without a doubt
Looking at the life of someone else

We all get lost in the vanity
It takes the human out of humanity
Such a sad calamity
We soak up life with a battery

Caught up in all the new age trends
Missing all our digital friends
Devolving feels like such a sin
Hiding behind a self portrait grin

Waiting for the van to come

What was pleasing now is almost fully gone
Man’s future makes a shadow of ages.
Various events till our joyful life
Dear faces vanished, ruins remained
No mercy express the daily old strife
The long for sunshine seams as mirage vain.
The fire devours fall’s color of trees
Hot summer with the red lips passed away,
North wind will bring a sense of cold kiss
Yesterday nice vision dwells in the soul.

A Couple More Days

Breathing the August Air
Red color spilled with light
Unforgetable memories shared
Encompassed by unending day.
Flawless though this place may seem
Relentless of the truth,
Imperfection, though minute, sometimes overlooked
Never understanding things that aren't there
Sunset will come, and soon you will see,
Simple, beautiful, fallen leaves.

A Natural Waltz

I could sense the feeling of calm inside me.
It swelled as the earth moved.
I danced as the soil grooved.
Nature and I, becoming one in a natural waltz,
Reunited despite our several faults.
My thoughts screamed in the quiet realm that was my mind.
I disappeared as I became lost in time.
No essence of mind, body, or soul,
Ghosts that whispered around me through the trees,
Nothing could touch me.I could fly
Higher and higher I flew, the clouds flying by.
This is the feeling that encompasses me as I lie beside nature,
One on one after so many years of departure.
The earth is our roots, and from earth we bear our fruits,
The fruits that grow and become our future, our hope.
My journey has ended, the knowledge on my face.
