I am looking at our old photos. Full of joyous happy moments spent together Months, years pass by You are no longer here. New people come and go Just as the seasons pass by. Paolo Driussi.

Who'd ever thought
Who'd ever thought There would be a light That would shine just as bright In the middle of the night
Who'd ever thought That times can be great That I could hold on to them It could never be too late Who'd ever thought This waiting was just a dream And now everything is finally free And no one wants to leave. Paolo Driussi

First Snow
Winter came too quickly,
Freezing the earth with frost-bitten fingers.
Yesterday it was a breezy fall day,
Leaves clumped up by the curbs on the street
Yet somehow I woke up to a blanket of white,
Because winter rushed in while I was asleep.
Paolo Driussi.

Sister
It all just came to a stop. Smoke blown in to the moisture laden morning air, But still birdsong falls like rainbow rain A persistant rose refusing to give ground to the season Still fighting to flower, a droplet of colour in the grey Sister, are these a message to me? Did I miss something when I casted my eye over this field? Perhaps I didn't, but did I really see? Paolo Driussi.

Greetings from Boston
Dreams of forgotten summer Summer of sun rays and greens Have you forsaken my dear self? How do you live? Have you done reading my book? Please, please send me a postcard At least for Christmas How do you see our dreams now? Dreams of forgotten summer Summer of joy and abundance Abundance of life So far away from this cold November.
