Once more you are remembered

Some roses
Given to you in a time
Full of joyous happy days spent together
Years pass by
Once more you are remembered
Wrapped in your embrace
Drunk on your scent
Trapped in your eyes
My hands around your neck
You said you had to leave
I got all confused, I lost my cool
The moment still happened
Your face so close to mine
I stood there dazed and confused.
Why must we be so imperfect shallow beings?
When the morning comes,
Will I be awake to see the sun?
Or will I be in the hazy, dreamy world of slumber?

November Sea

It was from seas of east
That blew the waves
From its mighty chest
Blown over washed up dark sand.
Thunder echoes the skies
And in darkness it lights
And waves rise
While day creeps to night.

 All by ourselves

We were headed, headed out,
We were going in a direction.
No tricks or intrigue.
It was a nice day to hitchhike..

Dozen of treads, all going the same direction.
We waited for our hitch.
There were train tracks
And a fog-blacked lake,

Beauty in its autumn slippers
Approached us by degrees
On the gravel path.
We were hitching a ride out.

Sooner or later you will tell

Do you look right through me?
I like the dust you sweep
Under the rug
Keeping me a secret

Secrets start upon the lips,
Then travel to another's ear,
Be careful though, if it slips,
Because secrets can cause fear.

Sometimes impossible to keep,
They leave you restless and dry,
But the curiosity burns with remorse.
Sooner or later you will tell.

Walking

My dearest Friend, do you remember me?
I walked beside you in all my being
And startled your gaze against the sun.

You must be older now in the counting years.
Do you remember?
We walked together for long hours
With clammy hands  in all the beauty of sight.

Beat the wink
And know we'll meet again someday.
I've been busy, but I hope you still feel the heat.

In the attic

You came
you sat with me
The wooden floor was creaky,
The window was sealed
Stained by the rain
Of the night before.
A forgotten pain
Recurring
But I’m here.
I will always be here.
Won't you come back?

Solitary Man

Lost in my thoughts, what can I say?
I assumed happiness would appear.
Am I delusional?
Nothing comes so easily, nothing.
Maybe tomorrow, the next day or the next

I lost myself; I lost everything I thought I knew
I stopped blaming them and blamed it on you.
Delusions was the lock and patience was the key,
It all took time; now those delusions are set free.
